Clayton & Crume—
Selection of Favorite Campaigns

It was one simple idea that started it all. A single belt, cut by hand evolved into Clayton & Crume. And stitched into that first belt were all the values they live by today. They learned early on that the finest things in life are honest, storied, and enduring. That to forge something with true, lasting character — you’ll probably need to use your own two hands.

But it’s not just a dedication to integrity that makes their leather goods great. It’s time. Time their makers spend iterating, polishing, perfecting — every single day. They are creating goods to last a lifetime.

Mother’s Day Tote Sale ‘25

Each spring, just in time for Mother’s Day, Clayton & Crume celebrates its iconic tote with a special promotion—offering both timeless classics and a fresh release of limited-run colorways. For Spring 2025, I led the creative direction behind the campaign, which introduced three new small-batch suedes: Cinnamon, Sage, and Oxford.

From concept to execution, I oversaw every visual detail of the launch. I developed the campaign narrative—“The Mother of All Totes: Designed to Fit Her Life”—a story that positioned the tote as the ultimate companion for the modern mom, moving seamlessly from office meetings to school pickups and grocery runs. I styled each bag with a distinct outfit to give it a unique personality and guided the photography to bring that story to life through intentional color, composition, and tone. Every element was crafted to not only showcase the product, but to celebrate the women it was made for.

Heritage Boot Collection Launch

The world of boots hasn’t just been underwhelming: it’s vast and confusing, too. But when you’re introduced to a pair of real good boots — the kind that you can take to a cobbler and keep wearing for decades — that can be a game-changer.

The goal was to make a boot in the traditional way—not as they were made 50 years ago, but as they were made 100 years ago. The launch of this campaign was simple: showcasing the handcrafted boot in a simple way for the customer to understand they are buying something that will last decades, not days.

Made to Last Campaign

Clayton & Crume’s Leather goods are not simply products; they are heirlooms that become a part of their customer’s lives and are cherished for generations. Yet, the dedication goes beyond their products – they aspire to build meaningful, long-lasting relationships, which will evolve over time, much like the durability of quality leather goods. During the 2023 holiday season, their promise remains the same: to create goods and relationships that stand the test of time, and are truly “Made to Last”.
